Some materials require the application of an adhesion promoter prior to printing. When required, the application of the adhesion promoter will help strengthen the bond between the ink and the substrate.
Direct Color Systems recommends three different types of promoters; Low-Odor Adhesion Promoter, Bohle and a Polypropylene Promoter.
Each promoter has its own recommended use but please note that these are recommendations only. All substrates should be tested for image receptivity, adhesion and durability, with final acceptance and suitability determined by the customer.
