Started by a handful of award-winning commercial print experts who are dedicated to giving their clientele the highest level of print quality and customer service, Coastal Graphics is still a relatively new sign-making/commercial printing company. However, ‘new’ should not be mistaken for inexperience as the team that started it all comes with an extensive history of graphic and UV printing experience – specifically with the DCS line of equipment. In addition to their UV printing services, Coastal Graphics also offers graphic design, offset printing, and CNC cutting services in the New York City area.

“We were very familiar with the small format UV LED printers manufactured by DCS as we have experience operating them from previous companies that we have worked with,“ says Chris Blusewicz, President of Coastal Graphics. “We find the software and the printer easy for us to use, but more importantly, we know what the printer can do and the print quality we can achieve. I can produce a significantly more diverse range of products and materials with my 1800z than I would be able to produce with any of the other UV printers I have seen online or talked to colleagues about.”
When looking at their capabilities, interested prospects must know that Coastal Graphics isn’t strictly a sign shop. They are a complete graphics operation that also produces promotional products, apparel, fine art prints and replications, magnets, business cards, clocks, and coasters. “We look to utilize all of our equipment to its full potential and keep them in full production mode as much as we can,” Blusewicz explains. “Using a digital process like the UV LED printer allows us to meet rapid turnaround times and most of the material requests that come through the door.”
Whether it is shirts, marketing materials, or ADA signage – Chris and his team see their UV printing equipment as a key component of their growth in the future. “Things like the ability to rapidly produce ADA compliant signage on my 1800z15 has opened more doors for me than I could have ever imagined,” says Blusewicz. “Almost every single person that I have called upon for ADA/Braille Signs has been extremely interested in our services.”
