"As you see it today, Alpha Dog ADA Signs was born out of a combination of life events/interests. We didn’t know it at the time, but the experience of operating a full-service sign shop for years and having a personal passion to be a volunteer raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind led to the creation of our company in 2013." Says, Ed Koop.

"Before purchasing our first DCS 7200z, we used multiple CNC routers to manufacture our ADA Braille signs. The process was very labor-intensive with multiple manual steps that typically led to inconsistent signs from job to job," says Ed Koop, Owner.

All of the technologies and production processes used by Alpha Dog over the years give them an advantage to their customers, but none more than their UV LED printers. "There are quite a few benefits, not just one. 1) Repeatability. Regardless of who is operating the printer(s), 2) Ease of use. Manufacturing our ADA Braille signage is basically just a print job now. 3) Quality of product. Our signs just look great. Whether doing tactile printing, flat prints or textured printing, the end result is a quality product. 4) Speed. We’re able to crank out over twice as many signs as we used to (compare the CNC routers). And the new UV-84DTS is even faster increasing our daily production capacities significantly. And 5) No other printer does what the DCS does when it comes to ADA Braille. We know because we looked at all the other options out there." According to Ed Koop.
