When you're producing customized items for your clients, you need to get as much bang for your buck out of every piece of equipment as possible. But what if you could buy a single direct to garment tee shirt printer that doesn't just print tee shirts of exceptional quality, but a whole range of other items using UV LED printing? With Direct Color System's new patent-pending application, you can do just that. Not only do you get one of the best DTG printer on the market, you get a machine that is flexible enough to print to a wide variety of other substrates. Here are the details:
Our versatile DCS UVMVP F4 Edition printer series provides you with exceptional versatility in a single high-quality direct printer. Unlike competitors that offer direct to garment printers, these printers print to a wide range of other materials as well, including metal, wood, ceramic, glass and plastics…opening up a whole new world of promotional materials for your clients in a single machine. For fabrics, in addition to the standard cotton and cotton blends, you can also print on a much wider range of fabrics and colors than in the past, including polyester and other synthetics which have been problematic at best. At the same time, you get crisp vibrant, durable, resistant images without harsh chemical pretreatments
The Direct Jet UVMVP series and 7200z printers (F4 Editions) are, bar none, the best DTG printer available on the market. It can provide both direct to garment and direct to substrate printing options in a single machine. The printed image is able to stretch with any fabric, allowing you to expand your product offerings and improve your profits in direct to garment printing. But that's not all the reasons why we produce the most versatile DTG printer in the industry.
Beyond the advanced capabilities of this printer series, it also saves you significant time and space when working on a production run. How? These systems use UV-cured inks to speed up the process. A UV light instantly cures the ink while the product is printing. This saves significant time compared to traditional printing methods that require extensive dry times. For additional insurance against any problems, we recommend heat pressing the finished garment for one minute at 300 °F / 149 °C to make sure that all the UV monomers in the ink are cured completely before presenting the finished items to your client. We refer to it as “the belt and suspenders” approach. Unlike inks that have been available in the past for garment printing, IRF4 UV inks have some unique properties. They remain flexible enough to use for both DTG printing and can be cured with a UV light and/or heat.
At Direct Color Systems, we're proud to develop what we feel is the world's most versatile printer. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further information.
